January 24th, 1999Digital Paint MP3S8NSSON has sent us an mp3 song that he made using the Digital Paint wav files. It is basically a techno song that lasts about a minute. He told me he will be making another longer one and that this is a preview of things to come. Click here to download his first song. Thank you to S8NSSON once again for contributing to the Digital Paint community. New Digital Paint Winamp SkinI spent most the night working on a new skin for WinAmp. I was inspired by S8NSSON's new .mp3 and I thought it needed a skin to go with it. You can see the new skin as Picture of the day and you can download it here. I know it isn't the best skin in the world. And it has a few glitches but I must go to sleep if I am going to get to work in time tomorrow =). January 23rd, 1999.plan System back onlineCalrathan's IP changed after DPcon so the link for the .plans has been bad for a few weeks. We finally realized the problem and they are back up and running. Calrathan will be moving the .plans to Captured.com very soon. Calrathan developed this cgi .plan system for use by sites on Captured.com and to be similair to the one hosted by PlanetQuake. Once it is up and running, everyone that has a site on Captured.com will be able to update the community whenever they need. Click on the link to the right to view this exciting resource. January 22nd, 1999Help Section UpdateI made a fairly large addition to the Help section today. In the newbie guide I have gone into depth with an example game played on the map Battle. This example offers many suggestions on gameplay and strategy to anyone that is new to the game or has been playing a while and just hasn't grasped the concept yet. I will be adding to this newbie section often and will also be developing a strategy guide that should also be very helpful.
