February 20th, 1999Digital Paint UpdateMany people have asked me why their hasn't been much news recently so I figured I would answer with a news post. Recently both Calrathan and Jitspoe have been very busy with school and have not had much time to work on Paintball related things. I have also been busy with work, and other issues mentioned in my .plan. However I will try to keep up with the news and I am sorry for the brief hiatus. Texas Outlaw has been working on an article for a Paintball Magazine about Digital Paint and emailed it off last night. We will let you know when this article is published. Ivy Girl of Clan Earthquake also showed me an article she wrote for a Mac Quake site. That should also be published in the near future. I would like to thank her and anyone else that is working to promote Digital Paint. We hope to get back into the thick of development soon and release our final version. Until then enjoy flinging the beta paint. February 12th, 1999The New Gnu Knew New Gnus Knew New NewsTounge Twister? Well, its proper grammar, despite what you may think. =)
Anyways, I just figured i'd point you guys to my latest plan update. It isnt really NEWS so I didnt want to post the big thing here, but it IS slightly realavant to those who care about the intrinsics of the DP code. Anyways, here is my latest plan update. Enjoy! February 8th, 1999Mod Central Review!Sluggo over at Mod Central has reviewed Digital Paint again. His first review came under a previous release and he had many connection problems thus we received a less then favorable review. However with the release of Beta 5, Sluggo offered to review DP again and this time he was much more pleased with the mod. Thank you to Sluggo for carrying DP news and offering to review us again. February 7th, 1999IRC Server ChangeDigital Paint has moved our IRC Channel to a different server. We are now on the GameNode Network. You can find us connecting to one of the servers listed on the GameNode page. I recommend using RI.GameNode.Net and mIRC. You can also use the Java Chat client linked in the navigation bar to your right. February 6th, 1999GameSpyder LaunchTheir is a new site up hosted by the guys over at Planetquake entitled GameSpyder. It is basically a gaming search engine similair to Yahoo. Digital Paint is listed on this site and they have a format of rating sites.
